What is LookSee?

Our Global Talent Community

The Government has tasked a group of industry leaders to seek out infrastructure projects that are ready to start as soon as the construction industry returns to normal to reduce the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s where LookSee comes in.

LookSee focuses on bringing the world’s best talent to New Zealand. Our LookSee Build programme supports over 80 employers in New Zealand and right now, we’re busy making plans to support New Zealand’s rebuild and the Government’s infrastructure sector. We’re listening and talking to our clients, industry bodies, and Immigration New Zealand and are moving to develop a solution that ensures New Zealand retains and attracts the talent required to deliver on this programme.​

Projects from the private and public sector that are ‘shovel-ready’ or likely to be within six months will be the focus of this push, developing a pipeline of infrastructure projects from across the country that would be ready to begin as soon as we are able to move around freely and go back to work.

This means that right now we are working on developing a solution to support the sector and taking advantage of our geographic and economic position in the world.
